(Video created May 2020)The West Coast Regional Council is investigating after 100 tyres were dumped into a West Coast river. “There are about 100 used tyres dumped down the bank, some of which have gone into the Taramakau River. Supplied Some of the 100 tyres found dumped off the edge of the State Highway 73 lay-by at Jacksons on the West Coast. It comes the same week the Government introduced environmental standards for tyres stored outdoors.
