One of the easiest ways to save money is by staying in hostels. I’ve spent over 4 months travelling all around Australia and I can tell you there are some great hostels there. One of the easiest ways to make sure you don’t get stuck in the latter is by using hostel review websites, like Hostelworld and Hostelz. To give you an idea what’s out there, both companies provided me with a list of the best hostels in Australia. At this level, they're all excellent hostels, though the ones at the end of the list are a little higher rated than the ones at the start.
