MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines on Saturday logged 1,803 new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases, bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases to 380,729. In its COVID-19 case bulletin, the Department of Health (DOH) reported 42,462 active cases, which is 11.2 percent of the total COVID-19 infections nationwide. This brings the country’s total COVID-19 death toll to 7,221 or 1.90 percent of the total COVID-19 cases. Meanwhile, 606 more COVID-19 patients were able to recover, raising the total number of recoveries in the country to 331,046.
