BigstockCourts in Dhaka division granted bail to 148 people, while online hearings were conducted on 179 petitionsA total of 1,013 people were granted bail across Bangladesh on the third day of virtual court proceedings on Wednesday. In Chittagong division, 753 bail petitions were filed while 248 people were granted bail and 67 bail petitions were rejected in the 267 virtual hearings. In Barisal division, 129 people were granted bail while hearings on 242 petitions were conducted online and 42 got rejected. In Sylhet division, 118 people obtained bail in 115 cases through virtual hearings, with 162 petitions filed with the virtual courts. In Mymensingh division, 89 cases were filed with the virtual courts while 70 people were granted bail in 82 online hearings.
