KUALA LUMPUR: Perak bounced back from a bruising defeat against KL on Saturday to register a 3-0 win over Indonesia in a TNB-Women’s Razak Cup Group A match at KLHA Stadium on Sunday. Perak, who were thrashed 6-2 by KL, took the lead in the 10th minute when Sofia Eizzatul Eillyana Zambahari picked up a cross from Nurliyana Ghazali before tapping the ball past Indonesia goalkeeper Selly Amalia Fiorentina. Indonesia, who took fourth in the Kuala Lumpur Sea Games in August, showed their pedigree with quick counter attacks, only to be denied by poor finishing. We are just happy to collect three points after the huge defeat against KL,” said Perak coach Azlan Ahmad. This is something that we need to improve on ahead of our next match,” said Deny.
