‘Tam Cam: The Untold Story’ invited to join Busan Film FestivalVietnamese movie "Tam Cam: The Untold Story’ has been invited to join the 21st Busan International Film Festival held in the Republic of Korea (RoK) from October 6-15. ‘Tam Cam: The Untold Story’, the first cinema production of Director and actress Ngo Thanh Van, is a Vietnamese fairy tale in a similar vein to Cinderella. In the film, Tam falls in love with a prince who was struggling against an evil presence in the royal court and helps him win back the country. Three weeks after the premiere, Tam Cam took in over VND40billion (US$1.79million) at local theatres. According to Kim Ji-seok, the festival’s Content Director, ‘Tam Cam: The Untold Story’ could be an important step for Vietnam to reach out to the international market.
