In the photos from the live-action film that co-producer Jack Morrissey posted to his Facebook, Beauty and the Beast fans can catch a glimpse of revamped favourites Lumiere and Cogsworth, played by Ewan McGregor and Ian McKellen. One comment on the photos read: “They look a little… scary for a kids movie.”“These designs are close but may not be final,” Morrissey said in the post. Here’s hoping Cogsworth gets a little more of a buff before the big show. While fans haven’t yet been granted a peek at the new Belle, played by Emma Watson, Morrissey did offer a still of Downton Abbey’s Dan Stevens in beast mode — but with blond locks, as opposed to red. Beauty and the Beast comes to theatres on March 17, 2017, directed by Bill Condon, starring Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Luke Evans and Josh Gad.
