‘Saturday Night Live’ to Air Live Across Country for Rest of Season

Most of the major awards shows including the Oscars, the Emmys, the Grammys, and the Golden Globes all air live across the country now. According to Nielsen, its live audience plus a week’s worth of catch-up viewing is averaging more than 11 million, a 26% improvement over last season. NBC said this season is tracking as the show’s most-watched season in 24 years.
