In 2010 she founded, ‘Get Writing’, a writing workshop series that is encouraging men and women to write their stories. An exclusive workshop for women from different backgrounds, ‘Writing with Women’, and a workshop catered for seniors, ‘Telling Our Stories’, are additions to her writing project. I know well that people are museums of memories and have a wealth of stories to tell. ‘Writing With Women’ initiativeI started this from a belief that we live in a world where women don’t get too many platforms to express themselves. In ‘Telling Our Stories’ I sit with them and talk to them about their memories.
