‘Leader of Isis cell’ admits beheading Scandinavian backpacker

Danish student Louisa Vesterager Jespersen, 24, and 28-year-old Norwegian Maren Ueland had been camping in the Atlas Mountains when they were murdered last December. Former street vendor Abdessamad Ejjoud, 25, admitted killing one of the students at a court near Rabat, according to local reports. ‘I beheaded one of them… I regret it,’ he said, blaming co-defendant Younes Ouaziyad for killing the other hiker. These are your heads, enemy of God.’A separate video which later surfaced showed the alleged killers pledging their allegiance to Isis leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
