Featuring plenty of new pop culture references, Amy Schumer in particular gets a mention, with Lauren Graham’s Lorelai asking, “Do you think Amy Schumer would like me?”A fan of the series, Schumer quickly jumped in and tweeted not only “I would love her!” but responded to Lorelai and Rory’s conversation within the clip. After Netflix finally confirmed a release date for the Gilmore Girls revival (November 25, mark your calendars), the streaming network also offered an early trailer of the four-part season. And, it turns out, neither does Schumer, really, as she responded, “I’ve only done 2 water sports and they took pictures of it both times. Rory informs her mother that Schumer wouldn’t be a fan, because “Every single time I see her in a magazine, she’s on vacation, doing water sports.”And as fans of the show know, the Gilmores do not do sports. I promise I usually just lay there (sex too).”
