Bruce Springsteen does not like Donald Trump and has made that clear on numerous occassions, labelling the U.S. president everything from “un-American” to a “moron” to a “flagrant, toxic narcissist.” And on Wednesday, he went as far as releasing an anti-Trump protest song called “That’s What Makes Us Great.”We see what you did there, Bruce. The song is a collaboration with Houserockers frontman Joe Grushecky and premiered earlier this week on SiriusXM. The lyrics include: “Don’t tell me a lie / And sell it as a fact / I’ve been down that road before / And I ain’t going back … Don’t you brag to me / That you never read a book / I never put my faith / In a con man and his crooks.”Related“I had this song, and Bruce and I had been talking,” Grushecky said to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “I sent it to him and he liked it. I said, ‘What do you think about singing on it?’ He gave it the Bruce treatment.”Springsteen even played a secret acoustic concert for Obama in the White House before his term came to a close, whom he actively campaigned for and was even spotted vacationing with this week in Tahiti.
