They had a terrific start to their campaign as they went on to win five out of their seven games to climb to the third position in the IPL 2021 table. Unfortunately, several players and support staff tested positive to Covid-19 which halted RCB's opportunity to win their maiden IPL trophy. Former Indian captain and batting great Sunil Gavaskar has hailed RCB for a brilliant show in the IPL 2021. The batting great opined that the right-arm has improved a lot ever since he returned from the Australia tour earlier this year.
