‘Gifting’ startup plans to create 100 new jobs in 2022

An Irish ‘gifting platform’ startup says that it aims to create 100 jobs in 2022. Called ‘&Open’, the company allows customers to pick gifts which can then be delivered to thousands of recipients. Founded by designer Jonathan Legge, private equity specialist Mark Legge and fashion retailer Ciara Flood, &Open currently employs around 50 people. It currently sends 35,000 gifts per week, up from 3,500 per week six months ago, according to the firm. Although most of the existing team is based in Dublin, &Open says it is open to hiring fully-remote employees.
