KUALA LUMPUR: Vacant posts among Bukit Aman’s top brass, including those of the Deputy IGP and Special Branch director, will be filled soon, said Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin. The Home Minister said there was no problem filling the posts despite the retirement of several Bukit Aman directors. The other vacant posts are that of CID director and Narcotic Crimes Investigation Department director. The vacant posts are being held by those in acting capacities. The Pakatan government is committed towards upholding Islam as the official religion of the federation as per the Federal Constitution, he added.
