more-inLok Sabha member K. Prabhakar Reddy has urged authorities to take urgent steps to declare the district open defection free (ODF). He was speaking at the District Development, Coordination and Monitoring Committee meeting here on Saturday. Mr. Reddy said the officials should coordinate and implement schemes being offered by the Union Government. while Sangareddy MLA Chinta Prabhakar called for completion of construction of compound walls for the KGBVs. Joint Collector Vasam Venkateswarlu and District Panchayat officer Venkateswarlu and other officials were present at the meeting.
