Rama Rao has directed the officials concerned to create awareness among the people living in the vicinity of the proposed pharma city and medical devices park, about the benefits of the project. The campaign must be taken up ahead of the public hearing, expected to be conducted for granting environmental clearances to the initiative. The Minister reviewed the progress of works on different projects launched by the department with senior officials on Thursday. The government would take a serious view in case of officials failing to achieve their targets in the stipulated time. He said the State had attracted some major names in the aerospace sector and the officials concerned should strive to bring more such companies into the aerospace park.
