Share TweetBy Roy MabasaThe “Build, Build, Build” initiative of the Duterte administration will help boost the supply chain in an archipelagic country such as the Philippines, said Ricky Sison, senior vice president of the Philippine Institute for Supply Management (PISM) at a recently concluded international conference on purchasing and supply in Hong Kong. He, however, expressed optimism that the Duterte administration’s political will to boost infrastructure funding will greatly contribute to the supply chain industry in the Philippines. The ambitious Build, Build, Build agenda seeks to accelerate infrastructure spending and develop industries that will yield robust growth, create jobs and improve the lives of Filipinos. Sison said PISM is offering its resources to the Philippine government in order to find solutions and upgrade the Philippines’ supply chain mechanisms.
