‘BATO’ VOWS COOPERATION IN KOREAN KILLINGS PROBE


Killings of South Koreans in the country arose from conflicts and rivalries in their businesses, Philippine National Police Director General Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa said on Wednesday. Reports had it that the South Korean government had sent a team to the Philippines to conduct its own probe of the reported killings of their citizens in the Philippines. A Korean news agency quoted an official of their foreign ministry as saying that the personal safety of Koreans in the country is worsening. At least seven South Koreans were reportedly killed in the Philippines this year. He assured his cooperation in the South Korean investigation of the reported killings.
