Interior and Local Government Secretary Ismael Sueno on Thursday visited the injured fireman who lent his breathing apparatus to a fire victim in Barangay South Triangle on October 31. Sueno commended Senior Fire Officer 2 Florencio Asonza Jr. for his gallantry by rescuing 15 fire victims trapped at the 8th floor of Franchesca Tower condominium on EDSA and Scout Borromeo Street, which was gutted by a fire that reached the third alarm at about 6:40 p.m. on Monday. Asonza also gave his breathing apparatus to an infant who was among those whom he rescued. But his colleagues later found him unconscious without the breathing apparatus and brought their colleague to the Chinese General Hospital. Jing Villamente
