An ANC aspirant for Parklands MCA has protested the awarding of a nominations certificate to his rival, whom he says lost. Abdi Ali went to the party's headquarters in Lavington, Nairobi, on Monday with his supporters. This was after the party headed by NASA principal Musalia Mudavadi gave the ticket to Mohamed Lelan who reportedly got 84 votes. Abdi said he garnered 419 votes and accused the party's Westlands MP Aspirant Amin Walji of plotting to lock him out of the race. Several aspirants were locked out after their parties awarded certificates to politicians said to have lost the nominations.
