Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and Second Lady Dorcas on Wednesday held a luncheon for Kenya's Special Olympic team at their official residence in Karen, Nairobi. The team participated in the 16th Special Olympic games held in Berlin, Germany from June 17 to 27. The team did Kenya proud at the games by scooping a total of 25 medals. "Scooping 15 Gold, 4 Silver and 6 Bronze medals is no mean feat for the Special Olympics team that represented Kenya in the just-concluded games in Berlin, Germany," Gachagua said. "To celebrate this feat, Pastor Dorcas Rigathi, the Patron of the Special Olympics Kenya, and I were excited to host a luncheon for the winners."
