Deputy President Rigathi on Wednesday gifted Sh3 million to Kenya's Special Olympic team. "It is a holiday so I will give you Sh3 million in cash and divide it among yourselves. Team Kenya scooped 15 Gold medals, four Silver medals and six Bronze medals during the games that took place in Berlin Germany from June 17 to 25, 2023. "The individual medalists who won bronze will get Sh500,000 and the team that won silver will get Sh75,000 and the individuals who won bronze will get Sh300,000 and the team that won bronze will get Sh50,000. The DP spoke when he hosted the Special Olympic team at his home for a luncheon.
