How it’s being usedAt this point, most people have heard of Chat GPT — a technology that allows you to have human-like conversations with a chatbot. (Photo by Joel C Ryan/Invision/AP, File)NEW YORK – Colman Domingo has a commanding physical presence, an expressive face and soulful eyes. His performance in George C. Wolfe's “Rustin" — Domingo's first time atop the call sheet — has made the 53-year-old journeyman actor a favorite for a best actor Oscar nomination. Though celebrated — Colman shared in an Obie award for ensemble — once the play closed, Domingo found himself bartending again. “I would be talking with Mark Rickler the production designer, ‘Oh, Colman could do that.’ Part of my brain would go, ‘Oh, Colman could do that,’' recalls Wolfe.

They used to take advantage of a grain elevator in Mayfield, Kentucky — a massive facility that bought and stored millions of bushels of grain from farmers. “The swings in the weather events that we have ... that’s kind of scary,” he said, especially for those with smaller farms. Human-caused climate change is only anticipated to amplify the number and intensity of those extreme events, from flash droughts to increased rainfall. Although he took some losses, he says that he and other farmers are used to dealing with uncooperative weather. On smaller farms, if farmers are forced to put everything in a low-lying area that floods, an entire crop can be affected, Schmitz said.

The Inca empire thrived across the Andean region of South America for centuries after first rising up at some point in the 13th century. Centuries before American interstate culture, the Incans developed what has come to be known as the Great Inca Road. And it allowed the Incan empire to communicate from region to region even amid mountainous terrain and what would otherwise be inhospitable conditions. For one, the army was regularly used to push forward progress on the economic and logistical development of the Incan empire. And with their long runs and quick paces, they kept the Incan empire better connected than most civilizations of that time period.

In the meantime, Amanda’s boyfriend Sulo is doing interview after interview on TV and some for the international media. We can be hopeful if guys like that take up the leadership when the old lot will be ousted. The youth of this country have so many good ideas, we know better than this old generation that had ruined it. I got my hands on some of the posters and stickers they are doing, might not put them up just yet. I know this has been a little short rant, but I have so much hope for the future.

These State-level polls will test the popularity of the two main contestants – the BJP led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and the Congress led by Rahul Gandhi. Therefore, if the BJP trounces the Congress in Rajasthan this time, it should come as no surprise. According to the ABP-C Voter survey, in Rajasthan, the BJP could win 130 of the 200 seats, whereas the Congress could drop to below 70. It has successfully wooed leaders from the Congress, BJP and the TDP, exploiting factionalism in those parties. The Congress too is projecting Rahul Gandhi but not in the same way as the BJP is projecting Modi.

The machines we’ve built throughout history are not just tools; they are the embodiment of human intelligence and ambition. This helps quantum computers link up their super-switches in powerful ways to solve complex problems that would take normal computers ages to work through. But quantum computers are a bit like race cars—they’re super fast but also very tricky to handle. Similar to the early computers, quantum computers have the potential to bring about significant global changes. The Hubble Space Telescope just ogled an exoplanet passing in front of a star in a triple system, revealing the nearby world’s mass. Webb Telescope Images the Pillars of CreationThe world is named LTT 1445Ac, and it was discovered in 2022 by NASA’s Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS). Now, a team of researchers used the veteran Hubble telescope to certify the world’s size; their results are accepted for publication in The Astronomical Journal and are currently hosted on the preprint server arXiv. The similarities stop there, though: LTT 1445Ac has a surface temperature of 500° Fahrenheit (260° Celsius), piping hot—and unsuitable for life—compared to our relatively balmy planet. “Transiting planets are exciting since we can characterize their atmospheres with spectroscopy, not only with Hubble but also with the James Webb Space Telescope,” Pass said.

The logo for IBM appears above a trading post on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. (AP Photo/Richard Drew, File)(The Hill) — IBM confirmed to The Hill it is pulling advertisements from X, the platform formerly known as Twitter Thursday, citing “’zero tolerance for hate speech.”“IBM has zero tolerance for hate speech and discrimination and we have immediately suspended all advertising on X while we investigate this entirely unacceptable situation,” IBM told the Financial Times. Elon Musk, the billionaire owner of X, faced backlash Wednesday for appearing to agree with an antisemitic post on the platform, replying it was the “absolute truth.” The post that Musk replied to was a response to another post by a user raising an issue with increasing antisemitism. “To the cowards hiding behind the anonymity of the internet and posting ‘Hitler was right’: You got something you want to say?” the initial user, who identified themselves as a “Jewish Conservative” in their bio, wrote. “Why dont you say it to our faces.”In response, another user said in a different post that “Jewish [communities] have been pushing the exact kind of dialectical hatred against whites that they claim to want people to stop using against them.”“I’m deeply disinterested in giving the tiniest shit now about western Jewish populations coming to the disturbing realization that those hordes of minorities that support flooding their country don’t exactly like them too much,” the user continued, adding, “You want truth said to your face, there it is.”Musk replied: “You have said the actual truth.”Among those who pushed back against Musk’s apparent agreement with the antisemitic post was CNN anchor Jake Tapper, who said it on X it was “pushing unvarnished antisemitism at a time of rising antisemitism and violence against Jews.”
