Sandiganbayan defers Bong Revilla arraignmentMANILA, Philippines — The Sandiganbayan has deferred the arraignment of former lawmaker Bong Revilla and co-accused Juanito Mendoza for their malversation case due to pending appeals before the anti-graft court. Revilla's camp has also filed a motion seeking the inhibition of Sandiganbayan Third Division Chair Associate Justice Karl Miranda. Meanwhile, the arraignment of Revilla's other co-accused—Brice Hernandez, Jaypee Mendoza, Arjay Domasig, Emelita Juat, and Christina Mae Pineda—proceeded. On February 5, the Sandiganbayan denied motions filed by Revilla and Juat seeking transfer to the custody of the Philippine National Police.
