But the outage triggered warnings from cyber security experts about a surge in hacking attempts exploiting the IT disruption. One of the more heartening aspects of the global IT outage was the resilience displayed by many organisations. There were cases of airlines switching rapidly to manual check-in systems and reporting no flight delays despite the outage. DORA, on the other hand, emphasises operational resilience in the financial sector. It focuses on the need for thorough digital operational resilience testing, and mandates incident response and recovery plans.

28 Jul 2024| 05:42am ISTAre there alternatives to ‘NEET’? MARIAN PINHEIROThe recent NEET question paper leaks have exposed the underbelly of Government conducted competitive exams in India. And secondly, the more important question, is NEET or any other competitive examination, the most appropriate method for selection for admission to professional courses. This shows that the Government has not been catering to the needs of the Indian students. That is, that the common entrance exam system is not the appropriate method to select candidates for a medical education.

It fits any phone up to 100 mm x 170 mm (or about 3.9 inches x 6.7 inches). I've used this case to take underwater pics, on boat rides, and have worn it with the lanyard jumping off a boat into water. Promising review: "I purchased this case in July for an upcoming canoe trip with a friend, and as luck would have it, we flipped our canoe. And so it, my ID, and my debit card ended up at the bottom of the river. Yup, my phone case with all of the contents intact and dry as a bone!

The car will be full of diesel before Kieran Donaghy takes off from Armagh and points the car for home, some 266km away. He knew Kieran McGeeney from way back, the International Rules panel of 2006 to be precise when, Donaghy who oversaw the fines system in the squad, levied McGeeney daily for his long hair. And then the first night down the road, I was going, ‘Jesus! This place isn’t close at all!’”“But he’s brilliant at getting you buying into helping people be better. Donaghy stays in south Armagh on occasion and he brought his family up in the days after they beat Kerry.

It was the greatest of days in Croke Park on Sunday last. The courage of this Clare team knows no bounds. As is the norm in Croke Park, you end up sitting beside a good neighbour. Both have secured their places on the Clare Team of the Millennium that’s not due for another 76 years. It’s said that our deepest feelings as Irish people are represented on the sod of Croke Park on All-Ireland hurling final day.

Asked what they were missing, Haaland said: “I don’t think we’re missing anything. “For the last three years, they have been so close in the Champions League and one year we won the Champions League and have won the Premier league four years in a row. “In the end, in the Champions League it’s about margins.

There is no doubt about it, but if mending broken fences or dragging full buckets of milk across a yard was an Olympic sport, I'd probably come out on top. The gold would go to Ireland and to your old pal Lehane, from up the mountain. And with tears streaming down my face, I would dedicate my victory to all in farming. For while the Scandinavians might be good at ice skating, and the Russians good for lifting, it takes a very special individual to succeed in the business of farming. I'd be up on that tractor turning hay one minute, then suddenly I would switch to raking it in.
