Swift prosecution of culprits key to preventing leaked WASSCE papers - Candidates
The leaked papers which should have been written on Wednesday, September 15, were Physics and Business Management. The Minister and his entourage visited Aburaman Senior High School (SHS), Nyankomasi SHS, and Nsuta SHS where a total of 1,819 candidates waited in vain to write the papers. "We are disappointed in WAEC for cancelling the papers through no fault of ours. Fordjour expressed the government's determination to ensure the successful conduct of the ongoing WASSCE and was optimistic about the candidates' preparedness towards quality WASSCE results to transition them into various tertiary institutions of their choice. He announced that from 2017 to date, the government had embarked on the construction of 2007 various school projects and completed about 58 percent with others at various levels of completion.

Baba Yara Stadium ready for use – Sports Minister declares

The Minister also disclosed during his address that, the facility will be under 24hrs CCTV surveillance.

Diesel, petrol, and gas engines). He said the technology is applied to clean the engines through a machine which has a cleaning capacity and can burn up to 75% of carbon deposits that prevent your engine from running smoothly due to modern day traffic conditions, fuel quality and recent anti-pollution requirements. Annan currently runs a mobility service for carbon cleaning and gets clean close to 10 cars per day on average.

Suspected kidnapper of missing 9 month-old pregnant woman demands ransom
According to a Graphic report sighted by GhanaWeb, the said kidnapper is demanding a ransom for the return of the 28-year-old woman who is said to be 9-months pregnant. The expectant mother reportedly went missing on the dawn of Thursday, September 16, 2021. According to Mr Paul Simon, identified as the husband of the missing woman, his wife failed to return home after going for a routine dawn walk. He reported the incident to the police and later indicated that the mother had received a phone call from a suspected kidnapper who is demanding a ransom for the release of his wife. The police in Takoradi have since commenced investigation into the circumstances that led to the pregnant woman going missing.

NIB banker allegedly defiles 14-year-old girl for three days

Hajia Mariama passed on last Monday, and Ghanaians have been sending messages of comfort to the Vice President and his family. The latest group to express their commiserations is the cured lepers, who have a special relationship with Dr Bawumia and his family. Purchasing of past questions for students shameful – Govt told

Achimota SHS Physics teacher found dead in his room
Dr Boadu said the Volta region recorded 35 cases, Oti region, 22; Bono East region, 21; and Western North region, 17. She noted that media reportage on suicide cases contributed to the increasing cases while mental health challenges also played a major role. Dr Boadu said her office will continue to intensify the advocacy and promotion of mental health and also train more health workers to be able to identify common mental health disorders. She called on the government and civil society organisations to invest more in mental health. He noted that mental health issues have not been given the necessary attention they deserve because the nation has inadequate mental health facilities to take care of patients.

Stop exploiting the youth with recruitment forms – Lanchene Toobu

JHS student who assaulted Nungua teacher fined GHC1,800

The court found the JHS student guilty of assaulting the teacher who punished him for failure to do his homework on February 22 this year. Although he denied conspiring with 15 other men to assault the teacher, the juvenile offender was found guilty after trial. On Monday, February 22, at about 1215 hours, the teacher, accompanied by Roger Asempa, the Head Teacher, went to the Police Station to report the assault. The teacher reported that at about 1200 hours, a student in his class and 15 other young men from the Nungua town came to the school in a bus to assault him physically.
