Inflation is impacting food prices. If that was the case we do not mind, the culprit obviously needed the food. But then also, being me, someone who would never charge anybody for stealing food I just shrugged and moved on. Yes, we have a huge benefit system that supports hundreds of thousands of us but it is still not enough in these times of inflation and huge food price increases. When will we start to see cheaper food prices?

The first ram raid occurred at 4:30am at Rebel Sports in Hornby, where two vehicles reversed into the building. An employee told Stuff they believed two cars were used to reverse into the building after one vehicle’s initial attempt failed. The vehicles managed to break through the bollards with concrete bases in front of the store, and the force of the entry took out the aluminium framing of the large storefront window.
