SRINAGAR: The Congress may get one cabinet berth in the NC-Congress coalition government to be headed by Omar Abdullah and one Rajya Sabya seat from the J&K Union Territory. The NC may also send its president and three-time former CM Farooq Abdullah to Parliament by fielding him from one of the four Rajya Sabha seats. As the Assembly will shortly convene, the Election Commission of India may start the process of filling the RS posts. With 55 MLAs supporting the NC-led coalition government, it may get three RS seats, while the BJP, which emerged as the second-largest party with 29 seats, may get one. The NC may offer one seat to Congress and send two of its members, including senior Abdullah, to the RS.

Police on Sunday arrested a Trinamool worker and the husband of a Trinamool Congress gram panchayat member for allegedly raping a young homemaker in Habra, North 24-Parganas, and abettingher suicide. The police have also arrested the victim’s husband, for allegedly mentally torturing her upon his return. After her husband left for work, Jayanta allegedly unleashed terror and raped the woman on multiple occasions. Despite her fear, she lodged a formal complaint with the police, but they did nothing to help”, he further alleged. Family members further alleged that the victim’s plight was multiplied due to after her husband began abusing her on his return.

One of the three newly inducted external members in the panel pushed for a 25 basis points (0.25 percentage points) rate cut, perhaps citing the decline in the headline inflation rate below the RBI’s median target of 4% in July and August. New Firecracker Rules: 125 डेसिबल की आवाज वाले पटाखे बेचे तो होगी कार्रवाई, 400 क्विंटल स्‍टॉक रखने की होगी अनुमतिरायपुर जिले में दिवाली के मौके पर पटाखों की बिक्री के लिए नई गाइडलाइंस जारी की गई हैं। 125 डेसिबल से अधिक आवाज वाले पटाखे बेचना प्रतिबंधित है, और अगर कोई दुकान इस सीमा का उल्लंघन करती है, तो लाइसेंस रद्द किया जाएगा। स्थायी पटाखा दुकानों के लिए 400 किलो और अस्थायी दुकानों के लिए 100 किलो पटाखे रखने की अनुमति दी गई है।दिवाली के मौके पर पटाखों की बिक्री के लिए नई गाइडलाइंस जारी। फाइल फोटोHighLights उल्लंघन करने पर पटाखा दुकान का लाइसेंस किया जाएगा रद्द। नियम अनुसार प्रत्येक पटाखा दुकान में अग्निशामक यंत्र होना चाहिए। दुकानों की जांच के लिए जिला प्रशासन द्वारा निरीक्षण टीम का गठित।नईदुनिया प्रतिनिधि, रायपुर। दिवाली त्योहार को लेकर रायपुर जिले में पटाखों की बिक्री के लिए नई गाइडलाइंस जारी की गई है, जिनका उद्देश्य सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करना और प्रदूषण को नियंत्रित करना है। जिला प्रशासन ने स्पष्ट किया है कि 125 डेसिबल से अधिक आवाज के पटाखे बेचना प्रतिबंधित होगा। यदि किसी दुकान में तय डेसिबल से अधिक क्षमता वाले पटाखे पाए गए, तो संबंधित लाइसेंस रद्द कर सख्त कार्रवाई की जाएगी।गाइडलाइंस के अनुसार, स्थायी पटाखा दुकानों के लिए 400 किलो और अस्थायी पटाखा दुकानों के लिए 100 किलो पटाखे रखने की अनुमति दी गई है। इससे अधिक स्टॉक रखने की अनुमति नहीं होगी।इसके साथ ही, सुरक्षा उपायों पर विशेष ध्यान दिया गया है। पटाखा दुकानों को किसी भी ज्वलनशील पदार्थ से नहीं बनाया जाना चाहिए और दुकानों के बीच तीन मीटर की दूरी होनी चाहिए। पटाखा दुकानों में प्रकाश व्यवस्था के लिए तेल के लैंप और खुली बिजली बत्ती का प्रयोग प्रतिबंधित है।प्रशासन ने यह भी सुनिश्चित किया है कि प्रत्येक पटाखा दुकान में 5 किलोग्राम क्षमता का डीसीपी अग्निशामक यंत्र होना चाहिए, और दुकानों के सामने 200 लीटर क्षमता के पानी के ड्रम की व्यवस्था होनी चाहिए। इन नियमों का पालन सुनिश्चित करने के लिए प्रशासन द्वारा कठोर कदम उठाए जाएंगे। यदि जांच के दौरान नियमों का उल्लंघन पाया गया, तो संबंधित दुकानों पर कार्रवाई की जाएगी। पटाखा दुकानों के लिए एडवाइजरी - पटाखा दुकानें किसी भी ज्वलनशील पदार्थ जैसे कपड़ा, बांस, रस्सी, टेंट से नहीं बनी होनी चाहिए

लखीमपुर खीरी के सेठ रोड स्थित एक नशेड़ी ने उधार में शराब न मिलने पर देशी शराब की दुकान में आग लगा दी। घटना में दुकान का सेल्समैन किसी तरह दुकान से बाहर निकल कर अपनी जान बचाने में सफल रहा। घटना का एक वीडियो भी सामने आया है। वहीं वीडियो को संज्ञान में ल. वीडियो शुक्रवार देर शाम का बताया जा रहा है। वीडियो में एक युवक को शराब की दुकान से भागते हुए देखा जा रहा है, जबकि दुकान से आग की लपटें उठ रही हैं। घटना का मुख्य कारण उधारी शराब का विवाद बताया जा रहा है। आरोपी ने जब सेल्समैन को उधार शराब देने को कहा तो उसने मना कर दिया। इसके बाद युवक भड़क गया और उसने दुकान के अंदर शराब छिड़ककर आग लगा दी।सेल्समैन ने बचाई जान, भीड़ ने की मदद आग लगते ही वहां अफरा-तफरी मच गई। सेल्समैन किसी तरह दुकान से बाहर निकलकर अपनी जान बचाने में सफल रहा। आसपास के लोगों ने मिलकर आग बुझाने की कोशिश की। घटना की सूचना मिलने पर पुलिस भी मौके पर पहुंच गई और आरोपी को हिरासत में लिया। पुलिस उससे पूछताछ कर रही है। प्रभारी निरीक्षक सदर अंबर सिंह ने बताया कि दुकान में आग लगाने की सूचना पर पुलिस ने घटनास्थल का निरीक्षण किया है। हालांकि, अभी तक दुकान के मालिक ने पुलिस को कोई तहरीर नहीं दी है।

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez on Monday (October 14, 2024) said there would be "no withdrawal" of the UN peacekeeping force from southern Lebanon after Israeli attacks and calls to leave. Israel's offensive against the Iran-backed Hezbollah militia has thrust the UNIFIL force deployed in Lebanon since 1978 into the spotlight. The force, which involves about 9,500 troops from some 50 nations led by a Spanish general, has in recent days reported multiple Israeli attacks that injured five of its troops and sparked international condemnation. Spain condemns Netanyahu's call for the force to pull back and "there will be no withdrawal of UNIFIL", Sanchez told a forum in Barcelona. That commitment "makes more sense today than ever after seeing what is happening on the ground", Mr. Sanchez said.

Delhi Crime News दिल्ली के मुखर्जी नगर में रावण दहन के बाद अवशेष उठाने को लेकर हुए विवाद में एक युवक और एक नाबालिग पर चाकू से हमला कर दिया गया। दोनों घायलों को अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है। पुलिस ने चार हमलावरों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। आरोपियों की पहचान आशीष नीरज वासु और आकाश के रूप में हुई है।जागरण संवाददाता, नई दिल्ली। मुखर्जी नगर थाना क्षेत्र में रावण का पुतला दहन होने के बाद इसके अवशेष उठाने को लेकर विवाद हो गया। इस विवाद में चार युवकों ने एक युवक व एक नाबालिग पर चाकू से हमला कर दिया, जिससे दोनों घायल हो गए। आनन-फानन दोनों को पास के ही एक अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया। वहीं, पुलिस ने आरोपियों के खिलाफ हत्या की कोशिश का केस दर्ज कर चार हमलावरों को को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है।आरोपियों की पहचान आशीष, नीरज, वासु और आकाश के रूप में हुई है। इनके पास से पुलिस ने वारदात में इस्तेमाल चाकू बरामद कर लिया है। पुलिस को अस्पताल से मिली सूचना उत्तरी-पश्चिमी जिला पुलिस उपायुक्त अभिषेक धानिया ने बताया कि 12 अक्टूबर को ट्रॉमा सेंटर सिविल लाइंस से दो घायल मरीजों के आने की जानकारी मिली। इनकी पहचान मुखर्जी नगर निवासी आलोक और 14 वर्षीय नाबालिग के रूप में हुई। सूचना मिलते ही मुखर्जी नगर थाना पुलिस अस्पताल पहुंची, जहां दोनों घायल बयान देने के स्थिति में नहीं थे।रावण का जला अवशेष जमा कर रहे छानबीन में पता चला कि यह घटना वीनस पब्लिक स्कूल के पास डीडीए मैदान में रावण का पुतला जलाने के ठीक बाद हुई थी। तब आरोपित लड़के पुतलों में बंधी रस्सियां काटने आए थे। जबकि दोनों घायल उस समय जले हुए रावण के अवशेष जमा कर रहे थे। इसी बात पर झगड़ा हुआ। विवाद इतना बढ़ा कि आरोपियों ने दोनों पीड़ित के सीने व पेट पर चाकू घोंपकर जख्मी कर दिया। वारदात को अंजाम देने के बाद सभी आरोपित मौके से फरार हो गए।
