A report by Citi News on the interrogation of Charity Mensah who was arrested earlier this week indicates details of phone conversations between the priestess and the two boys. She is however yet to confirm claims by the boys that she requested them to present a deceased person for the rituals. “What they [teenagers] wanted was “pocket no dry” charm so that they will never lack money in their lives,” Charity Mensah is quoted to have said during interrogations. Charity Mensah has been granted bail but reports indicate her husband has fled with their 2-week-old baby.

An angry Baba Jamal rubbished a prophecy by Owusu Bempah which posited that the former president is under some curse and until the spell is removed, he will be unsuccessful in his future re-election bids. John Dramani Mahama’s quest to have the results of the elections overturned was rendered fruitless as the Supreme Court found no merit in his case. The seven-member Supreme Court panel ruled unanimously that while John Dramani Mahama had legitimate concerns about the results he could not adduce evidence to validate the claims he was making against the EC. Dr Bossman Asare, the deputy chairman of the Electoral Commission told Asaase FM that the ruling of the court is a vindication of their work. The [Supreme] Court gave us an international vindication, so for us life is just normal; we have a lot of things, review of the election et cetera that we must engage in,” he said.

According to the police, 12 suspects who were held custody at the Zenu-Atadeka District Police escaped following an incident where a suspect poured hot porridge in the face of the police officer who was on duty on April 4, 2021. The police added that while 7 of the escapees have been rearrested, 5 of them are still on the run. The five are Richard Remeo, 30, Sulemana Ibrahim, 23, Abu Sadique, 29, Ibrahim Fuseini, 26, and Aziz Fuseini, 38 are still being haunted by the police. The following are the images of the suspects;
