“In the interest of the future survival and generational dominance of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Ghana, it is very prudent and justifiable for the delegates of NPP to totally and wholly REJECT any Akan Presidential aspirant during the party’s presidential primaries in 2022/2023. For the purpose of the 2024 general elections, NPP seriously DOES NOT NEED Akan Presidential candidate. If another Akan Presidential candidate is presented by NPP for 2024, the Party may seriously be ridiculed and humiliated at the polls in 2024. In my candid opinion, Ghanaians shall be seriously disappointed in the NPP for repeating these Akan Presidential Candidate things. We can avoid this time around by electing Non-Akan Presidential Candidate who is very competent and committed to the growth of NPP tradition.

The statement further said: “This oxygen demand would most likely create a condition of stress on living organisms that depend on dissolved oxygen in the water body. “This is most likely an indication of upwelled water from the bottom of the ocean, probably carrying low oxygen concentration. The Former President's view is in sync with a plethora of sentiments expressed by others on this subject matter including the police prosecutor's investigation. However, there are other factors that may equally be responsible for such killings of which the activities of the spiritualists is an important part. What gets me boiled is the phone calls or WhatsApp messages on lotto numbers and advertisements of these same spiritualists on money rituals and many other products. The net effect of such unregulated posts or advertisement on social media and on national television has the potential of luring many adventurous youths into money rituals by such spiritualists. Definitely, you shall be called to account on Judgement Day so think twice!

He noted that the ‘illegal’ acts of Alpha Lotto and some private lotto organization operators posed a great threat to the NLA and that it was in the interest of the country that it cracked the whip on them. “Alpha lotto were operating beyond the terms and condition upon which the NLA granted them license. “Nowhere in their contract did it state clearly that the private lotto operators can undertake live draws. NLA is about draw of numbers so the moment you allow a private person to do something parallel to the NLA, the draw of NLA will become useless and if that happens, you’ll collapse NLA.
