Her two television stations Thunder TV and Ice 1 TV have also been shut down by state security with equipment and other assets seized. The teenagers who murdered their friend supposedly mentioned an advert on TV as an influence for their crime. TheGhanaReport states that the priestess was arrested in the late hours of April 20, 2021 and is currently in the grips of the police.

A corruption risk assessment conducted by the Community Development Alliance has cited Professor Ampofo who is the head of Virology at the Noguchi Memorial Institute for conflict of interest. The contract between GACL and Frontiers Health Services was one of the issues that dominated the vetting of some appointees of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. Following this, Frontiers Healthcare Services Limited expressed the preparedness to provide such service to the public, whilst indicating that its equipment had been tested by the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA). It sought to verify and confirm the due certification of the equipment of Frontiers Healthcare. On 20th August 2020, the MD of GACL wrote to FDA to confirm the certification of Frontiers Healthcare.”

The 8th Parliament of Ghana can be described as a hung parliament with equal numbers of both ruling and opposition members. The opposition party now has the Speaker of Parliament but many opposition party members are unhappy about how the opposition leadership is running the affairs of parliament. Sammy Gyamfi, a Communications Director of the NDC in a Facebook post criticized the NDC caucus in parliament following the controversial approval of some ministerial nominees. He further suggested that he was in favour of changes in the leadership of the NDC in parliament.

Mr. Paul has been our favorite teacher on campus and has been teaching here for the past 10 years” the eyewitness said, reports dailyguidenetwork.com. His body has since been deposited at the Holy Family Medical Hospital morgue for preservation as the Techiman Police Command commences investigations into the death. The news threw the school into a state of shock although it has not halted teaching and learning.

The petition, dated April 16, 2021, was signed by Mr Richster Nii Amarh Amarfio, Director of LAIF Fisheries Company Limited, and copied to the President, Vice President, and the Speaker of Parliament, among others. The petition, made available to the Ghana News Agency, said on Thursday, April 15, 2021, at about 1200 hours, a team of National Security Operatives with armed uniformed Police and Military men invaded the residence of the Chairman of Laif Fisheries. The petition alleged the operatives broke into Laif Fisheries Company Accountant’s safe, and other rooms and took away money and valuables. The petition implored the National Security Minister to ensure that the US$15,000.00 and GHC80,000.00 allegedly taken from the residence and office premises of the Company were returned.
