CAIRO, 29 January 2023: Amir Tawfiq, the contract manager for the Al Ahly Club, announced that Ahmed Qandosi, a player for the Algerian Wifaq Setif Club, has joined Al-Ahly citadel for four and a half years.
After full coordination with AlAhly's football administration, all administrative and financial procedures were terminated with Wifaq Setif as part of the distinguished relations between the two brotherly clubs,he saidQandousi is the fourth signing in the winter transfer market for Al Ahly alongwith Khaled Abdel Fattah, Marwan Attiya and Mohammed Al-Dawai "Christo".
Algerian press reports revealed that Ahmed Qandosi, the Algerian player of Wifaq Setif and the Algerian national team, moved to AlAhly club on Saturday, indicating that he is currently participating in the African Cup of Nations for locals.
The Algerian newspaper, AlNahar, confirmed that AlQandousi would leave the African Nations Championship to join Al-Ahly Club, noting that the Al-Ahly representative was in Algeria on Saturday to settle the deal.
But at the end of Saturday, Al Ahly announced that the new player will not be able to join the team at the FIFA Club World Cup.
