Will John Schneider make any changes to the Jays’ style of play during his first camp as manager?

Canadian Defence Minister Anita Anand said in a statement Sunday evening that a “high-altitude object” was detected in U.S. airspace over Lake Huron. “NORAD launched Canadian and U.S. aircraft to investigate and the object was taken down in U.S. airspace by U.S. aircraft,” Anand said. Nor have they offered reasons why the airspace was closed over Lake Michigan when the object was spotted over Lake Huron. Defence Minister Anita Anand said Saturday the Yukon object was “potentially similar” to the Chinese spy balloon destroyed Feb. 4. Three ethical lapses tarnish the brand of all politiciansThere’s been a sudden outbreak of queasy and sleazy ethical shortcomings as three senior politicians recently made headlines for having stretched, bent or broken the rules. The premier of Canada’s most populous province, one of the prime minister’s favourite cabinet ministers and Canada’s biggest-city mayor faced difficult questions over their ethical conduct. One denies all wrongdoing, one admits to an oversight oopsie and the other quits over lousy moral judgment. Some are slap-on-the-wrist mistakes, others are worthy of the pink slip and most rate somewhere in between. LeBlanc didn't say if clawbacks are an option, but he did suggest premiers will have to answer to voters if they don't see improvements in provincial health-care systems. Ottawa's proposal includes a top-up to the Canada Health Transfer (CHT) and new money directed at four priority areas: family health services, health workers and backlogs, mental health and substance use and a "modernized health system." Manitoba Premier Heather Stefanson — currently the head of the Council of the Federation, the group that represents the premiers — said premiers were "disappointed" by the size of Trudeau's proposal. "This was probably in the neighbourhood of 50 per cent of my worst-case scenario," Eric Girard told Barton. Higgs also said he supports making public the metrics showing how the health system is performing.
