LUCKNOW: BJP's clean sweep in the civic polls has elevated Aditya Nath Yogi 's stature in UP politics and BJP's own pecking order. Since this was the first crucial election under his leadership, Yogi led the BJP campaign, criss-crossing the state with 34 rallies. The gambit has paid off handsomely. After the civic poll results, Yogi has managed to end the party's leadership dilemma.Contrary to perceptions that Yogi's popularity is confined to only Gorakhpur in East UP, he has managed to establish himself a pan-UP leader. The Hindutva poster boy has been campaigning in Himanchal Pradesh and Gujarat as well.Since he became CM in March this year, there was no major corruption issue against the Yogi government.
