If it weren’t for good old Louis, 66 - or, indeed, Geri Horner (nee Halliwell), 46, and Pete Waterman, 71 - then 35-year-old struggling pop star Cheryl Tweedy might never have been discovered. Louis, Geri and Pete of course ‘discovered’ Cheryl as they judged hopefuls on Popstars: The Rivals way back in 2002 - with Chezza making it into winning band Girls Aloud. Not content with career advice on the music front, Will also had some nuggets for Cheryl ahead of her return to TV judging on The Greatest Dancer tonight. “Just weather it and I hope that they stick with it because I care about Cheryl she's like family to me,” he professed. “I'd love to do that,” he said - however he laughed off the suggestion he would tune in to watch The Greatest Dancer, saying: “I won't be watching.”The Voice and The Greatest Dancer both air tonight at 8pm on ITV and BBC One respectively.
