"As on January 31, 2017, sugar mills in the country have produced 128.55 lac tons of sugar, as compared to 142.80 produced last season on the corresponding date. About 334 sugar mills are still operating in the current sugar season, whereas 494 sugar mills were operating last year at the end of January," stated an ISMA release. The 7.61% G-Secs maturing in 2030 moved up to Rs 107.9850 from Rs 107.76, while its yield softened to 6.69% from 6.72%. The 7.59% G-Secs maturing in 2026 climbed to Rs 107.1050 from Rs 106.94, while its yield edged down to 6.53% from 6.55%. The 6.79% G-Secs maturing in 2029, the 7.68% G-Secs maturing in 2023 and the 8.27% G-Secs maturing in 2020 were also quoted higher to Rs 101.88, Rs 106.1775 and Rs 105.8375 respectively.The overnight call money rates finished higher at 6.20% from Wednesday's level of 6.10%.
