The fact that New Zealand managed a competitive total of 285 despite a batting collapse, that saw them lose five wickets for just 27 runs, owed mainly to Jimmy Neesham superlative knock in the 3rd India v New Zealand ODI at Mohali. A third could have been added if Ross Taylor at wide slip had held on to simple chance. Unfortunately for Talyor, the man he dropped was Kohli off Matt Henry. Kohli got the reprieve in the fifth over of the Indian innings when his score was just six. Dhoni danced down the track to offspinner Mitchell Santner and deposited the ball for a massive six each time.
