The government issued a set of guidelines to be strictly followed by hotels and restaurants following their reopening. From the private sector, delivery service foodpanda stepped forward by installing hand-sanitising stations at 100 popular restaurants in the capital and other major cities. Alongside placing those stations, foodpanda is also supporting with supplies of hand sanitizers to keep restaurant goers safe, said a press release. To curb the spread of Covid-19 from riders to customers, contactless doorstep delivery is being availed for customers. Burger King has already put in markers on the floors, chairs and tables across its restaurants for customers to maintain social distancing.
