In the below lines, Egypt Today highlights the achievements in the field of developing transmission and distribution networks as stipulated in the document, which was approved by Parliament. 2- Increasing the lengths of high voltage lines and cables from 29,469 km to 31,084 km, an increase of 1,615 km, and a growth rate of 5.5%. 3- Increasing the capacities of high-voltage transformer stations from 95,315 MVA to 112,208 MVA, with an increase of 17.7%. 5- New lengths of lines as well as capacities of transformer stations were added to the network, as a result of the establishment of new projects and the expansion of existing projects. 7- Investing about EGP 965 million to develop electricity distribution networks in South Sinai during the period from July 2014 to March 2022.
