The Group CEO of e& Hatem Dowidar (pictured) is set to step down at the end of March after almost six years in charge, with the head of its operation in the United Arab Emirates Masood M. Sharif Mahmood poised to take over. In a stock market statement, e& stated the move coincided with delivering record financial results for 2025 and was aligned with the company’s succession plan. Dowidar joined e& in 2015 as group COO, before becoming CEO of its international operation in 2016. Mahmood will become Group CEO at the start of April, a job he will do alongside being CEO of e& UAE, a role he has held since 2021. Earlier in his career, Mahmood was CEO of Yahsat, a satellite business now part of Space42.
