I was on holiday the first time I came across rumoured Liverpool transfer target Dani Olmo. Spain booked their own place in the final, with Olmo scoring as they thrashed France 4-1 in Reggio Emilia. But the main reason why I can’t see him moving to Anfield is the Reds’ last signing from RB Leipzig - Szoboszlai. Yet compared to Szoboszlai’s record for Leipzig, Olmo scored less, assisted less, and was available to play less, while he’s also over two years older. Monitoring Leipzig and their attacking midfielders, Liverpool already made their choice last summer when signing Szoboszlai.
