A traffic light system is set to be introduced when holidays abroad are allowed again - with a "tiny handful" of countries on the green list - meaning people do not have to isolate when they get back. (Image: Getty Images/iStockphoto)Those classified as amber will require holidaymakers to isolate at home on their return, while people entering the country from red list countries will be forced to isolate in a hotel. Those coming from green list countries will have to pay for a PCR test within two days of arriving but will not have to quarantine. Anyone travelling from amber countries will have to stay at home for 10 days, and do two PCR tests in this time. A source told the Telegraph: “This is going to be slow and gradual rather than starting with lots of countries on the list."
