Could not subscribe, try again later Invalid EmailAirline bmi is celebrating five years since becoming independent in 2012 today (Wednesday 29th November), and to mark the milestone, they're giving away 2,012 flights! All you'll need to pay are the taxes, but the fares themselves are free - so it means you could be snapping up some VERY cheap seats. The flights are up for grabs on the bmi website already - and once they are gone, they're gone. Bmi first became a fully independent airline in November 2012, after it was sold by British Airways' parent group IAG. Now, the airline boasts a fleet of 20 Embraer Jet 135 and 145 aircraft, seating 37 and 49 customers respectively.
