The 39-year-old AC Milan striker hasn't represented his country since Euro 2016, his last appearance coming in a 1-0 defeat against Belgium in the group stages. According to FotbollDirekt Ibrahimovic is poised to make a sensational comeback, and the maverick striker is set to be called up to Janne Andersson's squad on March 16. Ibrahimovic could feature in World Cup qualifiers against Georgia and Kosovo, as well as the friendly against Estonia at the end of March. The Swede has been in sparkling form for AC Milan this season; scoring 14 Serie A goals in as many appearances.
