International Master Mohammad Fahad Rahman garnered 4.5 points, Ziaur’s son Tahsin Tajwar Zia gathered 4 points, Mohammad Zishan Rahman Maleq accumulated three points while Gias Uddin Ahmed earned 2.5 points after round eight. In the eighth round, Ziaur drew with Fide Master Manish Anto Cristiano of India, Fahad drew with Ayush Sharma of India, Tahsin lost to Alekhya Mukhopadhyay of India, Maleq lost to Priansh Das of India and Gias drew with Negi Augustiya of India.
