ANDREW KELLY Marriott International had to shut down its website in China after it suggested some Chinese regions were separate countries. Zespri didn't answer any questions about potential political or business risks and whether they were warned they could be exposed to them. While Zespri and NZTE both avoided media questions about any political or business risks associated with the way Zespri had worded its connections with Hong Kong and Taiwan, it's understood NZTE was concerned about the impact.
