In an omnichannel push, Zara is all set to launch online sales in India starting October 4 this year. The country will be its 46th market globally to have a Zara website. The e-commerce portal will allow customers make online purchases and have the option of picking it up from a Zara store or get the garments home delivered at a cost. Earlier in May, the lifestyle fashion apparel retailer launched its largest Zara store in India spread across 51,300 square foot in South Mumbai. There are currently 20 Zara stores operational across India, of which five are in Mumbai.
