Zaquan hits four as Malaysia end losing streak

Zaquan Adha Radzak scored four goals, including a first-half hat-trick, for Malaysia's first victory in 16 months since last beating Cambodia 3-2 at the 2016 AFF Cup. Wan Zack Haikal Wan Nor and Irfan Zakaria were also on the scoresheet in the opening 45 minutes in half while Syafiq Ahmad scored in the second half. It was Malaysia's biggest win since routing Cambodia 9-0 at the 1995 Sea Games while Bhutan suffered their second consecutive seven-goal thrashing following Tuesday's defeat to Maldives. Zaquan also claimed his first international goal in six years after converting a 20th-minute penalty when Bhutan centre-back Chimi Dorji floored Wan Zack in the box. Substitute Syafiq powered in a header in the 74th minute for his second goal in as many matches, having also netted against Lebanon, to complete the scoring.
