Zamfara State government has denied media reports that the state governor, Bello Matawalle snubbed the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Hajiya Sadiya Faruk during a recent visit to the state to distribute federal government palliatives following the outbreak of COVID-19. However, Media reports indicated that the governor snubbed her and she angrily left for Abuja. “Both versions, as carried in the media, to say the least, are profoundly unfair to the administration of His Excellency, Governor Bello Mohammed and, indeed, Zamfara State. It is therefore very uncharitable to allege that Governor Bello ‘snub’ her as was reported in some Media. “Zamfara State Government wishes to categorically state that the level of insecurity in the state has never prevented any function, government or private since the inception of this administration one year ago.
